Meghan's Christmas Present

We have a new kitten! Her name is Lucy (Meghan picked it) and she is an angora mix with her little shelter tattoo on the top of her head. We have had her for about a week now and it has been a really tough week for her. She has been to the hospital three times because she did not eat from Dec. 15th until Dec. 22nd. She was a sick little kitten and lost nearly 40% of her body weight in just 6 days! All is good now though because she is eating like a little pig because she is getting over her cold. She has such a great personality and loves things kittens dont usually like. She actually likes riding in the car!!! All is well here now. Meghan finished school and she got her grades, a 3.2 GPA. Although that is not a surprise for anyone except for her, we all know how hard she works and she has never failed a thing in her life. She is adjusting well to the lifestyle of school so life is pretty great here in the big CO.

AJ got a new car!

Here is the new Jeep Patriot with my old 4runner. I will certainly miss the 4runner but I am really happy with what I got. I cant believe I bought a new car and I will be paying for it entirely on my own. Its both very exciting and kind of scary! Other than that everything is all quiet on the front range!

These last few weeks have been all about working and getting ready for saturdays game to watch Corey begin his football career. For AJ life has been kind of boring because they are not giving him any work at all but he is hopefull that they will start throwing things his way to make his days a little more interesting. Meghans life has pretty much been consumed by studying and studying some more. She is getting on her way now and getting a little more comfortable with how things work at Regis, but a few more weeks and she should be totally familiar with her new lifestyle. This last weekend was great, we got to go to Kansas and see Corey play San Jose State. It was pretty fun to see K-State and of course see Corey out there on the field. Life in Colorado....and how we got here...

Well it all started about 2 years ago now when Meghan and I met. After dating and both graduating, we both took a little trip to Paris. I asked Meghan to marry me on July 4th, 2007 on top of the Arc de Triumph. She said yes, and we packed our bags for Colorado. Meghan has just started school at Regis University and is studying to get her Doctorate in Physical Therapy. I am just about to start as a marketing intern at Jackson Life, my first "real" job. We are planning to get married next summer, on the 9th of August, 2008 and the planning process has taken up a majority of our time so far. We are very excited for it, but the planning process has already shown that it is going to be a difficult one. Anyways, please let us know how you all are doing for whoever reads this. We have moved into a new place in Denver!

Here is our new place in Arvada, CO. It is right outside of Denver, about six miles west and close to the mountains. It is really beautiful here and always sunny, but we do miss Seattle alot (the WATER!!!) Anyways, here is our new place! There will be more posts soon! There is alot to write on here about what has happend since we got to colorado.
